2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liberty may be given to the petitioner to file representation before the District Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran (respondent no.3) in terms of order dated 20.8.1996, passed in C.W.J.C.No. 7901/1996 (annexure 9 to the writ petition), in which petitioner claims himself to be one of the writ petitioners.

3. In view of the nature of prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner file such application

Patna High Court CWJC No.1807 of 2020(14) dt.01-02-2024 2/2 before respondent no.3 within a period of six weeks from today.

4. In the event, such application is filed within the stipulated period, respondent no.3 shall look into the matter and dispose of the same by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law after hearing the parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the application.

5. Writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
