2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Kochas P.S. Case No. 237 of 2025, registered for the offence punishable under Section 80 r/w Section 3(5) of the B.N.S.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized in the year 2024 with the petitioners' son. A few months after the marriage, the petitioners along with other co-accused persons used to beat and threaten her in the name of dowry. Panchayat was held again and again but people used to tell her daughter that unless

One day, all accused persons named in the FIR had beaten her daughter badly and driven her out of the house and said that we won't keep her unless she pay Rs. 2,00,000/-. The informant borrowed one lakh rupees from relative and give it to her daughter's in-laws to accommodate her daughter at her in law's house. On 17.09.2025 at about 6:30 P.M., the informant received an information from the Kochas Police Station that her daughter had committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan and when they arrived, they found her daughter's body at Sadar Hospital, Sasaram for post mortem and cause of death is Asphyxia due to hanging.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioners have neither demanded any dowry nor assaulted or tried to kill the victim. The allegations levelled against the petitioners are general and omnibus in nature.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer of anticipatory bail.
6. Considering the nature and gravity of the offence alleged to have been committed by the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the

Accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
