The petitioner is in custody in connection with Anti P.S. Case No. 43 of 2019, G.R. No. 2646 of 2019, for the offences under Section 366(A) IPC pending in the Court of ACJM-VII, Gaya.

Considering the materials available on the record, the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected.

However, the Court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same positively within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The Superintendent of Police, Gaya is directed to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86343 of 2019(7) dt.25-01-2021 2/2 ensure examination of all the prosecution witnesses so that the trial may be concluded within the time-frame as indicated above.

In the event the trial is not concluded despite cooperation of the petitioner, the court below shall release the petitioner on appropriate terms and conditions and submit failure report to the Registrar (Vigilance) of this Court for appropriate action.
