JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 23-01-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Chapra Taraiya P.S. Case No. 299 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 386, 392, 420 and 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per prosecution case, petitioner and other accused persons surrounded the informant and snatched away Rs.35,000/- from him and so far this petitioner is concerned, he put pistol on the informant.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that whole allegation is false and concocted and as a matter of fact informant has taken money from several persons and when he persuaded him to return the amount the present case has been filed.

Heard learned APP, who has opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87118 of 2019(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 anticipatory bail stating that there is specific allegation against the petitioner.

In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. He has to surrender and pray for regular bail, which shall be considered on its own merit.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
