2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 569/2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the accused - Anil Rai, Ujjwal Raman and the petitioner were consuming alcohol near the informant's door. When the informant's brother Nageshwar Rai objected, they abused and assaulted him with an iron rod and sword, causing serious injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is next submitted that from the allegations, it

No.2776 of 2026(4) dt.16-04-2026 2/2 appears that the petitioner and others were taking liquor together and in that some difference arose and because of which, this occurrence has happened. Learned counsel further submits that petitioner has two criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 12.11.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra /concerned Court below in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 569/2020.
