The petitioner has a grievance that ignoring her better claim to be appointed as Anganbari Sevika for Ward No. 2 of Ramdiri-IV Gram Panchayat, in the District of Begusarai, respondent No. 8 has been appointed. It is the petitioner's specific case that she has better merit points than that of respondent No. 8. The selection in question is governed by the guidelines issued by the Directorate of ICDS, Social Welfare

Patna High Court CWJC No.83 of 2020(2) dt.24-01-2020 2/2 Department, Government of Bihar, which provides for Grievance Redressal Mechanism. In accordance with the said guidelines, the petitioner has remedy of approaching the Child Development Project Officer.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner with reference to the pleadings on record and copies of the documents annexed to the writ application, has submitted that the petitioner has already approached the Child Development Project Officer, on 12.09.2019, but no decision has so far been taken.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, this writ application is disposed of with a direction that let the Child Development Project Officer consider the petitioner's application and take a decision within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The Child Development Project Officer shall be duty bound to consider the petitioner's application in correct perspective. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) S.Ali/- U
