ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 20-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 13.11.2019 in connection with Excise Case No.389 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the recovery of liquor which was from Xylo vehicle but was engaged by the owner of the vehicle to drive the car. It is further submitted that the petitioner had no knowledge as to what was being carried in the vehicle. It is further submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedents.
