The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Phulparas P.S.Case No.168 of 2018 pending in the Court of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a)(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

More than 400 liters of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner has got two identical criminal cases.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, prayer for bail is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial. B.Kr./- (Birendra Kumar, J) U T
