The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bihta P.S. Case no. 985 of 2018, registered under Section 66(A) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The petitioner is accused for the offence punishable under Section 66(A) of the Information Technology Act, which is bailable in nature and on this ground, the prearrest bail of the petitioner was rejected by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII, Danapur.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is accused for the offence under Section 66(A) of the Information Technology Act, which is bailable, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1 of 2020(2) dt.22-01-2020 2/2 to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial Court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
