The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mansahi P.S. Case No. 79 of 2018 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the nature of allegation, the age of the petitioner and the rise of COVID-19 infection due to over crowded prison, the petitioner who is in custody since 14.03.2019, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 4th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Mansahi P.S. Case No. 79 of 2018.
