ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 16-06-2026 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the cause in the present writ petition does not survive as the authorities have taken a decision to permit the petitioner to operate from the Dickson Mod Private Bus Stand. That they have dropped the proposal to shift the bus stand from the Dickson Mod Private Bus Stand to Ricksadih. Learned counsel submits that this is the second attempt by the authorities in trying to shift the bus stand from Dickson Mod private Bus stand to Ricksadih. Learned

Patna High Court CWJC No.1483 of 2026(5) dt.16-06-2026 2/2 counsel submits that the petitioner has no objection for shifting the bus stand from the Dickson Mod Private Bus Stand to Ricksadih provided necessary infrastructure and other facilitates are provided. However, the authority without providing any infrastructure or facilities are trying to shift the bus stand. Learned counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to the photographs filed along with the rejoinder to the counter-affidavit filed by the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 which shows that the proposed bus stands i.e. Ricksadih does not have any infrastructure nor any amenities are provided and most of the area is water-logged.

Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondentauthorities that in case any proposal is there to shift the existing bus stand situated at Dickson Mod Private Bus Stand to Ricksadih, they are free to do so provided necessary infrastructure for running the bus stand and adequate facilities are provided to the commuters.

3. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
