In this writ petition, the petitioner would pray for a declaration that the respondents' possession over the land leased to the Oil Company is illegal and the petitioner is entitled for mesne profit since 1982.

Shri Sourabh Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Oil Company, would submit that pursuant to a decree

passed by the Civil Court, possession of the leased land has been handed over to the petitioner, therefore, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

No one appears for the petitioner to contest the application. 4.
