1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is entitled to be promoted on the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical), but till this date, his case has not been considered for promotion.

2. Be that as it may, respondent No.1 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) expeditiously. The petitioner is at liberty to make an additional representation, if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merit of the case.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed off. No cost(s).
