1. In course of hearing, learned counsel for the applicant would show to this Court another provisional allotment letter issued

WPC No. 20 of 2021 by the DME, on 07.1.2021, allowing admission to the petitioner in the first year MBBS course in the Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Science Bhilai (Private) College, consequent upon the mop-up round counseling held on 04.01.2021.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the above allotment letter, petitioner has already been admitted in the Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Science Bhilai (Private) College.

3. Learned State counsel does not dispute the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. According to him, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous owing to subsequent development.

4. In view of petitioner's admission in the Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Science Bhilai (Private) College during pendency of the petition, the writ petition has rendered infructuous.

5. For the reasons aforementioned, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
