1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has in the present writ petition is the non-releasing of the gratuity amount payable to the petitioner on his retirement.

2. According to the petitioner, he stood retired w.e.f. 31.03.2015 and almost 6 years have passed but till date the gratuity amount has not been released.

3. Counsel for the respondents submits that let the petitioner approach the respondents 2 & 3 who in turn shall on due scrutiny of the entitlement of the petitioner take an appropriate decision at the earliest. Counsel for the respondents also submits that in case there are certain formalities which the petitioner have to complete like submission of no dues certificate etc., let the petitioner complete the said requisite formalities at the earliest enabling the respondents to take a decision.

4. This submission of the respondents is acceptable to the counsel for the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents 2 & 3 to call upon the petitioner to complete the requisite formalities if the same till date has not been completed and to ensure that the gratuity amount payable to the petitioner in accordance with law is paid to him at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
