Grievance raised by Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is in respect of non-granting of 3rd Time Scale of Pay to the Petitioner on his completion of 30 years of service.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that Petitioner was initially appointed as Warder in the year 1977 and he had received one promotion to the post of Head Warder in the year 2013 and later on his reaching the age of superannuation he retired from service with effect from 30.4.2020. Learned Counsel for Petitioner further submits that since the Petitioner has completed more than 40 years of service, under the Circular of the State Government dated 28.4.2008 and the subsequent Circular in this regard dated 8.8.2018, the Petitioner is entitled for the benefit of 3rd Time Scale of Pay on completion of more than 30 years of service. Contention of learned Counsel for Petitioner is that since the said benefit has not been extended to Petitioner, he has been repeatedly approached the authorities in this regard but the same has been left unheard. 3.

Given the limited grievance that the Petitioner has, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing Respondents No. 2 to 4 to take appropriate steps in accordance with the Circulars of the State Government and

on due consideration decide the claim of Petitioner so far as granting of 3rd Time Scale of Pay is concerned on completion of his 30 years of service, at the earliest, preferably within an outer limit of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
