1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed in the year 1979, he was promoted to the post of Head Constable in the year 1988 and subsequently in 2007 the other colleagues of the petitioner were promoted; however, the petitioner was left out and eventually he was promoted on 02.03.2009. The petitioner therefore seeks liberty to make a detailed representation before the respondent No.2 so that the petitioner may eventually know the facts as to whether his case was considered earlier or not.
2. Given the aforesaid facts, at this stage, since limited prayer has been made, the petitioner is given liberty to make a detailed representation to the respondent
No.2, who in turn shall decide the same within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the representation.
