1. The limited relief which the petitioner has sought in the present writ petition is for a direction to respondent no.2 to take a decision on the representation which the petitioner has made so far as the grant of the benefit of 3 annual increments which have been stopped vide order dated 17.03.2005 which stands set aside by the appellate authority vide order dated 27.10.2018.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case so far as the entitlement of the benefit as claimed for by the petitioner is concerned, let respondent no.2 take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner keeping in view the order of the Commissioner dated 27.10.2018 setting aside the earlier order of punishment dated 17.03.2005.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of.
