1. By the impugned order, the defendant's opportunity to file written statement has been closed by the trial Court, against which, this writ petition has been filed.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the impugned order is unsustainable and bad in law.
3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the impugned order is in accordance with law.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the impugned order.
5. Taking into consideration the grounds raised in the writ petition and finding recorded by the trial Court, further 15 days' time from today is
granted to the defendant to file written statement subject to payment of cost of ₹ 2500/- to the plaintiff before the trial Court on the next date of hearing. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order as suit is pending since 14.3.2016.
