1. Mr. Pramod Kumar Verma, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner's date of birth has wrongly been recorded in the service record against which he has made representation which has not been considered and decided.

2. Be that as it may, respondent No.2 is directed to consider the petitioner's representation for correction of date of birth and decide the same by a speaking and reasoned order within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to make fresh / additional representation along with documents within two weeks from today. This Court has not expressed any opinion on

the merits of the matter.

3. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
