1. Mr. Soumya Rai, learned State counsel, submits that the petitioner has been promoted on the post of Assistant Grade-I w.e.f 21.12.2016, whereas, Mr. V.G.

Tamaskar, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the the petitioner is entitled for the promotion w.e.f 09.02.2015, from the date of juniors have been promoted.

2. Be that as it may, petitioner is at liberty to make representation within four weeks from today before the competent authority for promotion w.e.f 09.02.2015 and that will be considered by the competent authority within six weeks from the date of receipt of representation in accord with law.

3. With the aforesaid observation / direction

the instant writ petition stands disposed off.
