The present is a petition seeking for writ of quo warranto in respect of appointment of respondent No.2 as Principal Secretary, Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha.

The counsel for respondent No.1 submits that the respondent No.2 is no longer holding the post.

The submission made by the respondent No.1 is not disputed by either of the parties.

Taking into consideration the submission of Shri Sinha, since the respondent No.2 is no longer in office, this court is of the opinion that nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the present writ petition. The petition deserves to be and accordingly stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
