1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents for not registering the name of the petitioner for the purpose of selling of his paddy for the Kharif season 2019-20 at minimum support price.

2. The petitioner had well in time submitted his application for registration duly filled after completing all the requisite formalities and criteria. The petitioner was under the bona fide belief that his name has been registered. When the petitioner approached the respondents, he was informed that he can not sell his paddy as his name is not registered.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the reason for not registration of the name of the petitioner in spite of completing all the formalities by the petitioner has not been intimated by the respondents neither have they intimated the petitioner that his application for registration has been rejected.

4. At this juncture, Shri Somkant Verma, P.L., submits that the petitioner has already made his representation to respondents 2 & 3 which is pending consideration and therefore, the authorities be directed to decide the same in accordance with the guidelines governing the field.

5. Given the said submission by the Counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents 2 and 3 to take a decision on the representation made by the petitioner so far as the registration of his name not being done by the respondents is concerned. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. 7.
