1. The present petition is against the order dated 24.11.2017 whereby the JMFC, Bacheli has called for the final report of Police on a complaint filed by Gariba Ram Sahu u/s 156(3) of Cr.P.C., whereby the complainant alleged that by playing fraud on him, different insurance policies were issued and even false signatures were made on the documents to obtain the policy by Agent Pavitra Majumdar who is petitioner No.1 herein.

2. The complaint having been made, the JMFC Bacheli has called for the report of the Police u/s 156 of Cr.P.C.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that complainant and petitioner have entered into compromise and therefore at

this stage no fruitful purpose will be served if the investigation and proceedings are allowed to continue and prays for quashing the proceedings pending before the JMFC, Bacheli.

4. It appears that the petition is premature. Considering such facts situation of the case, at the threshold this court is not convinced that the said compromise entered between the accused and complainant can be allowed. Accordingly, petition is dismissed.
