1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the respondents while granting retiral and pensionary benefits to the petitioner have not taken into consideration the services rendered by the petitioner as a daily wage worker.

2. According to the petitioner, there are instructions/circulars of the State Govt. which say that past services rendered as daily wage employee have to be considered for grant of retiral and pensionary benefits. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to make a detailed representation in this regard to the respondents supported with all relevant records and documents in respect of his contention and the authority may in turn be directed to decide the same.

3. The limited prayer made by the petitioner is not opposed by the State counsel.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction that subject to the petitioner making a detailed representation in respect of his claim supported with all relevant records and documents, the respondents shall consider the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the field and also the circulars of the State Govt. in this regard, at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
