The applicants have preferred this application for grant of bail as they are arrested in connection with Crime No.240/2017 registered in Police Station Kotwali, Dist. Gariyaband (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 20(B) of NDPS Act.

As per the prosecution case, on 19/12/2017 a car bearing registration No.C.G. 04 HD-5055 having been intercepted and checked wherein from the applicants 17.800 gms of cannabis were recovered. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the applicants were falsely implicated in the case and they were not in conscious possession of the cannabis, therefore the applicants may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Perused the case diary. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specially taking into quantity of cannabis seized, this court is not

inclined to release the applicants on bail.
