1. Learned counsel appearing for petitioner submits that as of now the grievance of the petitioner would be redressed if he is permitted to make a representation to the Department in respect of his claim for promotion to the post of Homeopathy Medical Officer. Counsel for the petitioner refers to WPS No. 2116/2013 disposed of on 07.09.2021 by this High Court for a similar order.

2. Given the said facts and submissions by the counsel for petitioner and which is not opposed by the counsel for respondents, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to make a suitable representation in respect of his claim for promotion to the post of Homeopathy Medical Officer. Subject to the petitioner

making a representation within a period of 4 weeks from today, the respondents shall consider and decide the same within a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation, by a reasoned and speaking order.

3. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
