ORDER

(Passed on 22.4.2018) The applicant has been convicted under Section 420 ofthe tndian Penal Code by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Korba and the same is affirmed by Sessions Judge, Korba in Criminal Appeal No.20/2005 vide Judgment dated 30.8.2006 wherein the applicant has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay fine of Rs.1000/- with default stipulations.

The applicant has been charge sheeted for the offence under Section 420 IPC against Teekam Gupta.

Applicant Lala @ Dhananjay and complainant Teekam Gupta have filed an application for compounding the offence.

On due consideration, the application is allowed. 4.

The offence is hereby compounded in view of Section 320(8) of

^I -2the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

The applicant is acquitted for commission of offence under Section 420 of the IPC and conviction and sentence imposed upon the applicant by both the Courts below is hereby set aside.

A copy of the docket (compromise arrived at between the parties) be sent to the concerned Court along with its record, if any, and a copy ofthe order passed today, forthwith.
