1. None for the petitioner when the matter is called.

2. Considering the fact that the matter is of the year 2005, this Court proceeded to decide the writ petition taking assistance from the State counsel.

3. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider grant of appointment to the petitioner on the post of Upper Division Teacher.

4. Perusal of the record shows that when the petition was originally filed by the petitioner before the State Administrative Tribunal, he was aged around 44 years. Down the line and the matter pending before this Court for 18 years, the petitioner as on date would be 62 years of age and as such the petitioner has crossed all permissible

limits for grant of appointment with the respondents and by efflux of time the matter has become infructuous.

5. Therefore the present writ petition stands disposed off as having become infructuous.
