Gajuram And Another v. State Of Chhattisgarh And ORS.
HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet Writ Petition (S) No. 457 of 20 Gajuram Potai & another Versus State of Chhattisgarh & others 05.03.2019 None appears for the petitioners.
Shri Anshuman Shrivastava, P.L. for the State. The limited relief sought for by the petitioners in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to grant the revised pay scale and interest on the arrears of pay.
The petition is pending consideration before this Court for almost 13 years. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner in spite of repeated calls being made. From perusal of the reply filed by the State Govt. it appears that the petitioners in fact have been granted the benefit of revised pay scale and that could be one of the reasons why there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.
Without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution reserving the right of the petitioners to restore the same in case the grievance of the petitioners has not been redressed till date.
