1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the action on the part of the Commissioner, Surguja Division, respondent No.1 so far as constitution of a Committee to enquire into the alleged illegalities/irregularities committed by the petitioner.

2. Today when the matter is taken up, it has been brought to the notice of the Court that subsequently the respondent State has vide notification dated 06.01.2020 already removed the petitioner from the post of Vice Chancellor of the Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya, Ambikapur.

3. Fact that the final order has now been passed on 06.01.2020 and that the petitioner having already challenged the notification dated 03.01.2020 in WPS No.180/2020, this Court is of the opinion that present writ petition as such is left only for academic interest as the major relief that petitioner now would have to seek would be from WPS 180/2020,

4. In view of the same, present writ petition stands dismissed of as having become infructuous leaving open all the grounds and the contentions that petitioner had raised in the present writ petition to be raised in the said writ petition i.e. WPS 180/2020. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Rohit
