Learned State counsel would inform, on instructions, that the petitioner was allowed interim relief on 20-12-02, however, he never turned up forjoining and serving in the department. It is also stated by learned State counsel that a sum of Rs.60,000/- remains to be paid to the petitioner on account of the bills of Traveling Allowance submitted by the petitioner and all other dues have been paid to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would not dispute the statement, however, he would pray that the amount of Rs.60.000/- may be directed to be paid forthwith.

In view of the above, controversy involved in this writ petition now survives only for the amount of Rs.60,000/-, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of

\ \ with a direction to the respondents to pay the above stated amount of Rs.60,000/- to the petitioner within a period of two months from today. If any other amount remains unpaid, the petitioner may prefer a representation before the competent authority within a period of one month, which shall also be decided in accordance with law within a further period of three months.
