Mr. V. K. Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that though the petitioner has been found fit for the benefit

of time pay scale by the respondent authorities, but the order in this regard is not being issued. The petitioner has also made representation to the respondent authorities, but the same has not been considered and decided till date. Therefore, the respondent authorities may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner.

Mr. Aditya Sharma, learned State counsel, would submit that if the petitioner makes a fresh representation to the respondent authorities, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh representation to the respondent authorities raising his grievance within a period of 2 weeks from today. On such representation being made, the respondent authorities are directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation by a reasoned and speaking order within next 6 weeks.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order

as to cost (s).

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
