1. This is an office reference based on the request letter dated 2912-2020 sent by the District & Sessions Judge, Surguja (Ambikapur) for disposal of Criminal Appeal No.501/2003 and the request letter dated 29-12-2020 sent by the 5th Additional District Judge, Ambikapur, for extension of time for final disposal of Criminal Appeal No.501/2003.

2. I have perused the office reference and the request letter.

3. Considering the extraordinary reason shown by the District Judge, Ambikapur, time is extended up to 28-2-2021 to comply the order. The Inspector General of Police, Surguja Range is directed to ensure the presence of the concerned accused in order to enable the learned trial Court to comply the order of this Court.

4. A copy of this order be sent to the District Judge and the Inspector General of Police, Surguja Range for compliance.
