1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail as he apprehends his arrest in connection with Crime No.185/2018, registered at Police Station Gudhiyari, District Raipur for offences punishable under Section 509-B of the IPC and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. As per the prosecution case, complainant Akash Sharma lodged a written complaint informing the police that he is receiving obscene pictures of female body over which his wife's face has been morphed. During investigation, IP address, call details report and the subscriber details report were obtained in which one Saurav Agrawal was found to have sent the messages. During further investigation, the present
applicant was found to be involved in indecent chatting over Face Book with Saurav Agrawal and had also sent obscene pictures.
3. Considering the evidence so far collected and the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to extend the benefit of anticipatory bail to the applicant. Accordingly, the application is rejected. Sd/- Judge (Prashant Kumar Mishra) Barve
