Prayer made by the Petitioner through the present writ petition was for including the name of the Petitioner in the Gradation List of Sub Engineers for promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer.

The Respondents vide their reply and Annexure R-1 dated 31.12.2012 have stated that the case of the Petitioner was in fact considered and the relief sought for has been granted to the Petitioner.

Given the said fact nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the present writ petition. The writ petition stands accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous.
