1. Proceedings of this matter have been taken-up through video conferencing.

2. Mr. P. Acharya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner has already been promoted on the post of Company Commander on 16-10-2012, however, he is entitled for promotion from 19-8-2011 for which he may be allowed to make representation within four weeks.

3. Be that as it may, the petitioner is permitted to make representation claiming promotion on the post of Company Commander with effect from 19-8-2011, if representation is made within six weeks from today, it will be decided within ten weeks from the date of receipt of said representation.

4. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
