1. The limited prayer that the petitioner has made in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No.1 to take a

decision on the application filed by the petitioner before the respondent no.1.

2. On a question being put to the learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether there is any provision for moving an application for reconsideration of a decision granting no objection certificate by the respondent no.2 under the provisions of the Petroleum Rules, 2002, learned counsel appearing for the parties submit that there is none.

3. In the absence of any provision provided under the Rules, if the application has been moved, this Court finds it difficult for issuance of any such writ or direction to the respondents to decide such an application.
