The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for direction for considering the case of the petitioner for appointment on the post of Paramedical Opthalmic Assistant by giving age relaxation. 2.

The petitioner had intended to participate in the recruitment to the aforesaid post from the advertisement which was published on 04/05/2012. 3.

The age limit in the said advertisement itself was fixed at 18-35 years. 4.

Admittedly, the petitioner at the time of filing of the petition or at the time of initiation of recruitment process was more than 45 years. 5.

The maximum age permissible for Government employment in the State of Chhattisgarh after granting of relaxation also is 45 years.

Since, the petitioner already having crossed that age, under no circumstances can the petitioner be granted any further relaxation. 7.
