1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that SECL has taken possession of the land of the petitioner and a railway track has been constructed over it. The petitioner has made application for compensation, but it has not been paid to him.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the SECL would oppose the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Be that as it may, SECL is directed to consider the case of the petitioner afresh after hearing the petitioner within two months from today and pass a reasoned and speaking order with regard to the land of the petitioner. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make additional representation supported by documents that on his land, SECL has constructed railway track.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
