1. The petitioner was a Judicial Officer in the erstwhile State of Madhya Pradesh when the Full Court decided not to confirm him in the Higher Judicial Service and was thus reverted to his feeder cadre of Civil
WPS No. 2996 of 2008 Judge, Class-I (Senior Division/CJM).
2. It is informed by Shri Chitendra Singh, learned Panel Lawyer of the State, who happens to be the close relative of the petitioner, that the petitioner has died. Even otherwise, decision by the Full Court was taken prior to 1.11.2000 when there was no existence of the State of Chhattisgarh and separate High Court of Chhattisgarh.
3. For all the above stated reasons, the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication. It is accordingly dismissed.
