1. The petitioners have assailed the legality and validity of the impugned order passed by the Labour Court directing payment of Rs.1,42,160/- to the respondents in execution of the award passed on 24.8.1998 in case No.14/ID Act/ Reference/93 (Shri Niranjan Singh & 37 others Vs. Conservator of Forest, Department of

Forest, Durg).

2. The Writ Petition preferred by the State against the award dated 24.8.1998 has been dismissed today in W.P. No.2747/2004. In the said Writ Petition, Shri T.K. Tiwari, Advocate had appeared on behalf of the workmen to submit that entire payment has been made to the workmen.

3. In view of the above, the present Writ Petition has been rendered infructuous. It is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. However, if any cause of action still survives for adjudication, the petitioners would be at liberty to move afresh.
