The limited prayer in the instant case by the Petitioner is for a direction to Respondent No.3-District Education Officer, Korba, to take a decision on the letter issued by the Additional Director, Public Instructions, New Raipur, Raipur, on 15.11.2017, vide Annexure P-2. 2.

Claim of the Petitioner is in respect of grant of promotion from the post of Upper Division Teacher to that of Head Master, Middle School. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he only wants a decision to be taken on the representation made by the Petitioner which has been forwarded by the Additional Director to the District Education Officer.

Learned Counsel for the State does not oppose the same.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that Respondent No.3-District Education Officer, Korba, shall dispose of the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with rules, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from today. 6.

With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands finally disposed of.
