The challenge in this writ application was to the advertisement for 554 posts published by the Women and Child Development Department for appointment as Supervisor. The grievance was with regard to inadequate representation for Scheduled Tribes by granting it a lesser quota than required. 2.

Quite apart from the fact that appointments must have been completed by now, leaving the larger question of law open for consideration in any appropriate case, the Court is not inclined to entertain this writ application on the short ground that though the last date for submission of applications was 27.2.2009, this writ petition challenging a clause of the advertisement with regard to inadequate representation of Scheduled Tribes was filed thereafter on 17.3.2009. 3.

The writ petition is dismissed.
