The Public Interest Litigation was initiated suo motu on 17.7.2003 with regard to the District Hospital (CIMS), Bilaspur and the nature of medical facilities provided therein. Pursuant to the direction of the Court, the Respondents have furnished necessary information with regard to the steps taken to revamp the hospital, and Amicus Curiae has also submitted her suggestions on 16.6.2015.

We therefore consider it proper at this stage to dispose this writ application with a direction to the Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department to closely examine the suggestions given by the

Amicus Curiae and act upon it in accordance with law so that proper medical treatment is made available to the patients visiting the hospital. 3.
