ORDER

1) As these two appeals arise out of the same judgment dated 29.12.1997 passed by the Fifth Additional District Judge and Special Judge (CBI), Jabalpur (MP), they are being disposed of by this common order.

2) Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant has died during the pendency of the appeal on 30.07.2016.

cra 17 & 31 of 1998 3) A report dated 07.03.2017 has been received from the Station House Officer, Raipur in which it is stated that the sole appellant Mukund Shridhar Mahadeokar, S/o late Shridhar Govind Mahadeokar has died on the said date, supported by a copy of the death certificate.

4) There is no application on behalf of any legal representative of the deceased to prosecute this appeal further. 5) In light of the above, these two appeals (CRA- 17 and 31 of 1998) are dismissed as having become abated. 6) Record of the Court below be sent back along with a copy of this order forthwith.
