Shri Suryakant Mishra, Panel Lawyer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hon'ble Shri Justice Inder Singh Uboweja Order on Board 10/08/2015 1) By this appeal under Section 374(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'the Code') the appellant has challenged the legality and propriety of the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 01.08.2006 passed by the Special Judge under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, Durg (C.G.) in Special Case No.14 of 2014.

2) Perused the report dated 12.07.2015 sent by Station House Officer, P.S. Chawni in which it has been mentioned that appellant Gurmit Singh @ Kake died on 29.03.2015 and in this connection death certificate of the appellant is also annexed herewith. 3) The State counsel after verifying the record has not disputed the above fact.
