Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that pursuant to the advertisement dated 19.05.2017, the petitioner has made representation before the respondent authorities for grant of preference in the ongoing direct recruitment under Rule 20 of the Chhattisgarh Horticulture Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) Service Recruitment Rules, 2012 which has not been considered and decided till date.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make an additional representation before the competent authority for grant of relaxation in the ongoing direct recruitment within six weeks from today and, in turn, the

competent authority shall do well to consider and decide the petitioner's representation expeditiously.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
