By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a direction to the respondents to provide family pension and other benefits on account of death of her husband i.e. Late Ramadhar Singh who died in harness on 4.9.2010 working as Head Master at Primary School Naina, Block Wadrafnagar, District Balrampur.

The return filed by the respondents as also the documents which have been filed along with the writ petition show that pending the petition the major portion of the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed inasmuch as the petitioner has been offered the compassionate appointment and the amount of retiral dues like GPF etc., has also been paid to the petitioner.

The only issue left is, whether the petitioner is being paid family pension or not.

Considering the fact that the petition is pending since 2014, this Court is not intend to keep it pending any longer. Since all the respondents are duly represented through their respective counsel particularly the office of the Accountant General, Raipur, the writ petition is being disposed of with a direction that so far as grant of family pension is concerned, on the petitioner making a detailed representation to respondents no. 1, 2 & 3 the said issue should be finalized, if it has till date not been finalized, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner along with this order. 5.
