By virtue of the interim order granted by this Court on 21.06.2017, the petitioner continued to discharge his duties on the post of Panch for Gram Panchayat Chichirda, District Bilaspur.

In view of the facts that election of the petitioner has since been completed, fresh election has also been held, the writ petition practically become infructuous.
